ABOUT

I J Jones Engineering is a total engineering solution run by an experienced agricultural engineer. Ideally located between the busy South Devon towns of Totnes, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. The company has been operating for more than 30 years, coming under new ownership in 2020 to continue a legacy of dependable service and high standards.

About Ian

I have worked across the agricultural engineering and machinery sector in the UK, USA and Australia. Having grown up in the South Hams I did an apprenticeship at an agricultural dealership in Aveton Gifford before spending a number of years working with harvesters from Texas to the Canadian border, and then from Queensland to Victoria.

After returning to the UK, I worked with respected dealerships and agricultural engineering firms in South Devon before joining the business as lead mechanic. When the former owners decided to retire, I took over the company which then became I J Jones Engineering, continuing its legacy as a trusted maintenance and servicing provider, as well as adding new products and services such as equipment hire and sales.

My customers and friends know me as Stan.

OUR SERVICES

SERVICING & REPAIRS

We provide servicing and repair work for all tractors, ATV and UTV vehicles, machinery and air conditioning glass replacement as required.

SPARES

For any servicing or repairs work that we do, we will source and supply all of the parts required, helping to minimise disruption and hassle.

HIRE

We have a range of Kawasaki MULES, trailers and machinery available for hire when you need them, so you don’t have to worry about maintenance or storage.
